DO YOU OFFER IN PERSON SESSIONS?

I am currently offering in person sessions for vaccinated individuals. 

DO YOU OFFER TELEHEALTH SESSIONS?

Yes! I offer all services through a HIPPA compliant platform. 

IS TELEHEALTH AS EFFECTIVE AS IN-PERSON SESSIONS?

Some studies show that telehealth counseling is just as effective as in-person counseling. I do my best to make the virtual experience work for you. What is most needed is a private space for you to be in and a willingness to show up. 

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

I am an out-of-network provider, however I am able to provide you with the documentation necessary to obtain reimbursement from your insurance company should your benefit plan permit. You may also be able to use your FSA or HSA to cover the cost of therapy services.  

DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE THERAPY?

I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments.  Are you a student? veteran? experiencing financial difficulties?  Let's discuss upfront.

I HAVEN'T BEEN IN THERAPY BEFORE, WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

The therapeutic process is different for each individual, but the first few sessions of therapy we get to know each other, I gather information about your current life situation and background and we develop goals for therapy. As therapy progresses we explore ways you can take action outside of the therapy session to support and integrate the insight gained during sessions. A commitment to doing client-specific homework can accelerate the benefits of therapy. I invite feedback and use humor to provide levity to the process of dealing with hard things.
